The Rotary Club of Strathcona Sunrise is pleased to have partnered with the City of Courtenay, other interested parties and the Comox Valley Rotary clubs to build a universally accessible playground with some equipment modified for children with disabilities at the Courtenay Airpark. The Skypark was a big hit on opening day, September 13th.
Lynn Brandon has been a proud member of Rotary since 2002. She is the sitting President for the 2011-2012 Rotary Year.

The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with family and friends and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back in the hope of finding a cure for this terrible disease.
The Relay was fun and fulfilling as Bodyworx participated and gave strength to the mission to eradicate cancer. As a team we walked in this inspirational 12-hour overnight event where we came together and fought to make cancer history.
